Saitama Craft Center


Saitama Prefecture still has lots of traditional crafts such as washi ( Handmade Japanese Paper).

They add warmth and richness to our lives. In this center, you can see all the traditional crafts registered by Saitama Prefecture in the display corner.

You can also experience the manufacturing procedures of handmade paper etc.

The center also has the diorama of Saitama area, a gallery, an audio-visual room, souvenir shops, and a restaurant.

Children (includes elementary and junior high school students)150yen亙100yen亜
Numbers inside 亙亜 indicate group reduction fees

丂Ogawa Washi has a long history , and many craftsmen here have inherited its tradition. You can take a 5-day course in paper-making .
